Warri :Delta Government to jaw - jaw with traditional institutions, other stakeholders  over security concerns in public schools


Delta State Government, has concluded arrangements to engage traditional rulers and other stakeholders in Warri South Local Government Area, with a view to tackling security concerns in public schools in Warri.                                         

 

In view of the planned meetings, the Executive Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, Hon. Omiregha Samuel Mariere, will on Wednesday July 10 hold separate interactive sessions with the Head of Personnel Management of Warri South Local Government Council and other stakeholders at the palaces of the Olu of Warri, the Orosuen of Okere - Urhobo Kingdom, Warri and the Ovie of Agbarah Kingdom, Warri.                                   

 

Fresh Angle International understands that those expected to attend the interactive meetings, include five persons from each school within the localities, President - General of the surrounding communities, representative of local vigilantes as well as women and youth leaders.                                   

 

Whilst the Executive Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, will pay working visit to the Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management by 9:00 am, the interactive sessions at the palaces of the Olu of Warri, the Orosuen of Okere - Urhobo and Ovie of Agbarah, are scheduled for 10:00 am, 12 noon and 2:00 pm respectively.                           

 

The State Universal Basic Education Board Chairman, will conclude his extensive engagements with critical stakeholders with a working visit to the Local Education Authority, Warri South Local Government office same day by 3:00PM.
