The newly sworn-in Spokesman (Unu-Amua) of Jeddo in Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State, Comrade Solomon Bayagbon has assured people of Jeddo that he will work towards increased peace and security as well as attract steady power supply to the town.
Comrade Bayagbon gave the assurance Saturday February 11 at Jeddo during his installation as Unu-Amua otherwise known as Unuevworo of Jeddo.
He promised to liase with notable Okpe indigenous Chiefs such as the Delta State Commissioner for Works, Chief James Augoye, Chief D.W. Enamiriewan, Chief Efe Uko and Chief James Umukoro to enable him realize the goal of steady power supply as well as other development projects in Jeddo.

Comrade Bayagbon identified cultism, lawlessness and underdevelopment as some of the challenges confronting the Okpe Sub Clan, just as he assured of accountability and transparency at all times.
Delta State Commissioner for Works, Chief James Augoye stressed the resolve of Dr. Okowa administration to construct massive road networks across the State.
He described Jeddo as a blessed area with two security formations, saying that security challenges bedevilling the community will soon be a thing of the past.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that an Aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Youth Development, Lawrence Ngozi Akpomiemie, a former Chairman of Okpe Local Government Area, Chief Efe Uko and Chief (Mrs.) Sarah Abido were among those who spoke at the ceremony.
