Popular Warri based constitutional lawyer and scion of the Odje dynasty, Dr. Akpo Mudiaga Odje says expressing love to one another can end the killings in the Northern part of Nigeria, adding that love should not be restricted to lovers and spouses.
Dr. Odje who spoke to Fresh Angle International on Saint Valentine’s Day noted, "love is not restricted to your spouse, brothers, sisters or relatives, but it is a wider concept. It entails extending warm hand of fellowship and affection to the collective, so that we can live as one and the 'One Love’ Bob Marley sang about can be promoted."
According to him, if Nigerians love one another, the unwarranted killings in the North, the Boko Haram insurgency and other forms of insecurity as well as kidnappings will be truncated, noting that the absence of love breeds enmity, discord, division, grief and anger which often lead to violence.
