Ekpemupolo Emerges Leader of Warri  South-West Legislative Arm

Following the first plenary of the Warri South-West Legislators at Ogbe-Ijoh, Headquarters of Warri South-West Local Government Area, Hon. Samuel Ekpemupolo, emerged as the Leader of the 7th Assembly of the Legislative Arm. 

Our Warri South - West Bureau Chief, reports that Hon. Charles Erewa, a returnee Councillor, was elected the Deputy Leader during the section held Tuesday July 16 at the Council's Legislative Chamber. 

 

Others include: Hon Richard Atumu, Majority Leader, Hon Preye Korimene Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Dennis Edolor Chief Whip and Hon Kingsley Esimaje, Deputy Chief Whip.

 

The Councillors were charged by the Chairman, Hon Sylvester Oromoni, to take the business of legislation seriously as the bye-laws passed by the House will form the bedrock of policies for the governance of the Local Government.
