The Olare-Aja (Oldest Man) of Ifiekporo Community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, Pa. George Mogbeyiteren, has ordered the immediate stoppage of the purported forgery of his signature for publications, allegedly done by the Trust leadership of the communit.

 

 

Our Principal Correspondent, reports that Pa. Mogbeyiteren, made the call today, Tuesday August 20, during an exclusive interview, at his private residence in Obodo, Warri South Local Government Area.

He demanded that henceforth, any letter emanating from the community, should be brought to his notice for him to sign as the Olare-Aja, saying the community is made up of three Quarters, vis-à-vis: Ughakporo, Ughatie and Ogunjala.

Pa. Mogbeyiteren, stressed that several documents flying round the media, purportedly signed by him, were forged. He mentioned the correspondences allegedly forged, to include; A letter dated 30th April, 2024, titled "Request for Nominees for Trust and Youth Executive for Ifiekporo Community, by Council of Elders,” Letter to the three Quarters in Ifiekporo, in a circular addressed to the "Olare-Ughakporo, Olare- Ughatie and the Olare of Ogunjala, dated August 7, 2024 with the title: "Cancellation of the Position of Secretary to the Elders’ Council" as well as letters notifying the various security and government agencies.

Whilst notifying the DPO of Police 'A' Division Warri, the Police Area Command, Warri, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State and the AIG Zone 5, Benin City, Pa. Mogbeyiteren, called on the Inspector-General of Police, NNS Delta, other security agencies as well as the relevant MDAs in government, to disregard the said publications and broadcast on radio/other media establishments.

He admonished indigenes of Ifiekporo to sustain the peace and unity in the community, in order to attract more investors to the Warri South Community.
