Kogi @ 33: NIESV Felicitates Governor Ododo

The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Kogi State Branch has congratulated Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State, on the 33 Years Anniversary of the State creation.

In a congratulatory message by the Honorary Publicity Secretary, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) Kogi State Branch ESV John O. Eniwaiye on Tuesday, he described the 33 years of the creation of Kogi State as a journey in progress.

Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that ESV John Eniwaiye said "On behalf of the NIESV Kogi State Branch, the Honorary Publicity Secretary ESV Eniwaiye John extend heartfelt congratulations to you on the momentous occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the creation of the State.

"Kogi State being a State blessed with various mineral resources and the significant milestones not only marks the rich history, cultural heritage and unity enjoyed of our blessed state but at the same time, serves as a great testament to the resilience and unity in diversity enjoyed by the good people and resistance of this Confluence State.

"Today, as we reflect on the journey so far, we celebrate the strides made in infrastructure development, healthcare, agriculture, education, capacity building, engagement of professionals and civil servants welfare as they are all commendable and inspire hope among the good people of the State.

"This 33rd anniversary should be seen as a gift of another year, demanding for our collective resolve to work together towards building a formidable and prosperous Kogi State. 

"As on of the professionals in built environment, we would continue to harness our diverse strengths and resources in pursuit of sustainable development, give necessary advice in areas of our professional competency and in collaboration with State and Local government in the areas of land administration, policies formulation and implementation towards adequate revenue drive and improvement of infrastructure within the state.

"However, special recognition are given to past leaders for their contributions towards the development of the state as we commemorate this special day. 

"I hope in the years ahead, Kogi state Estate Surveyors and Valuers would continue to be your best driver in delivering professional services such as property valuation, property rating, assets management, compulsory acquisition and compensation exercise, project management, land advisory service, property development, property consultancy services with relevant agencies by putting in place adequate regulations and enforcement of standard, towards enrichment of the state.
