Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has summoned contractors handling the Omadino Technical College project at Omadino for a meeting next week, just as the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, scheduled a meeting of critical stakeholders at his office for Monday September 9, to ensure that the rehabilitation of Omadino/Obodo Road being executed by Warri South Local Government Council, passes integrity test.  

 

Governor Oborevwori, summoned the seven contractors handling the Omadino Technical Project, after inspecting the extent of work done, Tuesday September 3.

Whilst noting that the school project is very dear to Itsekiri people, the governor, explained that the scheduled meeting with the contractors, is to enable his administration identify the challenges being faced by the companies handling the project, with a view to fast-track the execution.

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, who accompanied Governor Oborevwori on the inspection of the ongoing work at the Trans-Warri-Ode-Itsekiri Bridges and Access Roads and the Technical College project, used the opportunity to assess repair work at Omadino/Obodo Road project being executed by Warri South Local Government Council.

The Warri South Local Government Boss, who was flanked on the inspection tour by his Vice, Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, some members of Warri South Legislative Arm, Supervisors and the Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management, Mrs. Remi Omatsuli, scheduled a meeting of critical stakeholders at his office by 11.00am Monday September 9, to discuss strategies on how to ensure that the Omadino/Obodo Road rehabilitation passes integrity test.

The Chairman of Omadino Management Committee, Mr. Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren and the Chief Priest of Omadino, Roland Yomere, had commended the Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Comr. Agbateyiniro for embarking on the repair work at Omadino/Obodo Road, stressing the need for Warri South Local Government Council to ensure that the project execution meets the required standard.

The Site Engineer for the Omadino/Obodo Road repair work, Engr. Temi William of Webstar Global Ventures Limited, assured that the project would commence fully on Wednesday September 4.
