The Vice Chancellor of Dominican University, DUI, Ibadan - Nigeria, Prof. Jacinta Opara, has charged participants of the BEMOREOYO2024 Summer Bootcamp to take the lessons they learnt seriously, saying there's no limit to what they can achieve.
Fresh Angle International can report that Prof. Opara gave the charge Saturday September 7 at Ibadan, Oyo state, during the closing ceremony of BEMOREOYO2024 summer bootcamp. Bemore Empowered Girls ' Foundation, is Africa's largest STEM+E project (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Entrepreneurship) with pronounced bias for ICT and Solar Technology.
Prof. Opara, who was optimistic that the future is bright " because it is being shaped by these young women (the participants) stated: " Let us work together to ensure that the empowerment of our girls, remains a priority in our communities and beyond."
She expressed gratitude to the founder of BEMORE Empowered Girls Foundation, Her Excellency, Dr. Betty Anyanwu - Akeredolu, former First Lady of Ondo State, " for her unwavering commitment to nurturing the hope and leaders of tomorrow," saying the impact will be felt for generations to come.
Whilst giving plaudits to the facilitators, for imparting knowledge as well as inspiring and guiding the participants, the DUI VC, averred: " To the parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting your daughters to this program. Your support and encouragement are the pillars that will help them continue to grow and thrive."
