Warri: OML 150 Stakeholders retain HCDTF led by Agbeyi, dissolve Consultative Forum

 OML 150 Host / Impacted Communities ' Stakeholders, have retained the Host Communities Development Trustees Fund, HCDTF led by Comrade Monday Agbeyi and announced the dissolution of OML 150 Communities Forum.                      

Fresh Angle International can report that this was fallout of resolutions reached at the end of a meeting of the stakeholders held Monday September 9 at GT Event Centre, Warri in Delta State.                      

The meeting which was attended by prominent stakeholders such as Chief Billy Besigiwa, Johnson Onire, Fidelis Ete Lori, Pa Samson Agitan, Julius Eromona, Frank Uwatse , George Benson and Otomewo Omereyemi, amongst others, recognized Otumara and Ugboritseduwa as impacted communities to Conoil Producing Limited operations in OML 150.                        

According to the stakeholders, Conoil shall negotiate contracts and labour employment directly with community leaders/ executives, recognize and negotiate with the major host community leaders/ executives as well as other communities similarly.                          

They also demanded the following: " Communities trust/ management executives, including youth executives, shall negotiate directly without middlemen. OML 150 Host / Impacted Communities Stakeholders, shall moderate all community affairs related to stakeholders, the communities shall deliver a copy of the resolution to Conoil within the stipulated time frame. Any attack on community or individual, shall be considered on attack on all, the resolution reached shall be communicated officially to Conoil, His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR and other relevant government organs, while the stakeholders meeting shall reconvene for further deliberation."
