Behind the Veil: CIA’s Dirty Tricks in Bangladesh

All mega-developed projects constructed by Sheikh Hasina Government in Bangladesh were heavily damaged by some planted hooligans in disguise of the anti-discrimination movement of pupils during July-August 2024. The damaged public properties valued billions of dollars must be repaired for People’s Welfare in Bangladesh. But the chance is very slim.

More clearly, it was a well-prepared, well-planned, lynx-eyed, well-ordered and hawk-eyed - billions of US Dollar blueprint by dreaded western spy agency CIA conjoined with forces like Prof Dr. Yunus like a close ally of America, Jamaat-e-BNP, Pakistan’s vile spy agency ISI, some extreme right-wingers - so-called Islamists killing rams, Bangladesh army chief, his loyalist cronies which led rufescent of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina government from power in Bangladesh unlawfully on 5 August 2024.

The CIA’s destructive role in world politics since the end of World War II as a secret rogue spy agency controlled by unelected intelligence officers has become so ubiquitous that it can be joked about. But behind the jokes lies a far darker reality: the agency's imperial ambitions have fueled a legacy of death and destruction in the name of expanding American power. Hugh Wilford, author and professor of history at California State University Long Beach has made the specifics of CIA operations and their impact on geopolitics from its inception to the present-day of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh boasts a highly resilient economy that has withstood numerous internal and external shocks. When Bangladesh gained independence in 1971, it was the second poorest country in the world. However, in a relatively short period, the nation has transformed from a predominantly agrarian subsistence society into a global manufacturing hub, especially in the apparel sector. Additionally, the services sector has grown in tandem, contributing 51.04% to the GDP in FY 2023-24. These transformations have highlighted Bangladesh as one of the great development success stories.

A look at the annual growth rate of Bangladesh in comparison to its neighboring countries, shows that while other nations saw a fluctuation in their rates, Bangladesh maintained a steady growth throughout the years. Even in 2020, when the world took a downturn due to COVID-19, Bangladesh did not face any major setbacks and handled the wave better than most nations. In addition to that, Bangladesh’s economy is expected to outshine the economies of Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore with its presence as the 20th largest economy in the world by 2038. All these credits must go to HPM Sheikh Hasina Government.

Globally, there has been significant emphasis on the importance of infrastructure development, especially in developing countries like Bangladesh.

Bangladesh recognized the importance of large-infrastructure projects aiming to position the country as an investment hotspot in South Asia. Improving access to infrastructure services will boost our economic activities and produce spill-over effects in its various productive sectors.

The potential economic impact for Bangladesh is expected as high as USD 35.5 billion by 2030. Bangladesh has prioritized enhancing its transport network, undertaking numerous infrastructural development projects to boost connectivity. The country’s first long-term development strategies, also identified infrastructure as a key driver of sustainable growth. In alignment with these plans, Bangladesh has steadily progressed from constructing rural infrastructure to now building ambitious large-scale projects.

For constructing rural infrastructure projects were aimed at with the goal of speeding up economic growth and enhancing social benefits. Currently, transportation demand in Bangladesh is growing by about 8% per year, driven by population and economic development. To meet this rising demand, the interim government should focus on major infrastructure projects which aim to lay the foundation for a sustainable future.

Investing heavily in these significant projects will spark the biggest investment surge in Bangladesh’s development history under the able and dynamic leadership of Sheikh Hasina. These projects are expected to transform the country’s economy by opening up new business opportunities and driving development.

For example, the Padma Bridge has connected 21 southern districts with the capital, ensuring a steady supply of raw materials needed for industrialization and is expected to boost GDP by 1.2 percent. The Matarbari port will enhance cross-border trade by providing efficient port services and better connectivity. If managed well, these key projects will effectively address Bangladesh’s infrastructure gaps, transport issues, and power shortages in a sustainable way.

Following the success of these projects, the construction of the first subway in Dhaka, the Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway Project (DAEEP), MRT Line-1 and Line-5, a high-speed train between Dhaka and Chittagong, and the Cox’s Bazar runway extension are all set to be taken care of by the Interim Government.

Bangladesh is expected to gain significant economic and productivity benefits from its numerous large projects, if properly taken care of.

As Bangladesh moves towards becoming a strong economic presence globally, it is crucial to maintain a balanced approach for long-term economic stability. The importance of proper planning, evaluation, and implementation can be emphasized enough.

During the anti-quota movement from mid-July to mid-August 2024, at least 300 classrooms of Dhaka University were damaged by some terra incognita hoodlums belong to CIA, ISI and their local mango-twigs, particularly, Jamaat-e-BNP, Jamaat-Shibir-Hefazat-Hizbut Tahrir-Ansarullah Bangla Team, et al.

Most of the fire attacks were committed at the state establishments, in other words, the public properties which were meant for the public benefits. Some criminals and terrorists were set free breaking the Narsingdi Jail by those hellish creatures.

It is very outrageous that Bangladesh Television headquarter at Rampura, Disaster Management Office, Setu Bhaban, Department of Health office and National Data Cable Centre at Mohakhali, Metro Rail, Elevated Expressway, BRTA offices, some regional offices of Dhaka North City Corporation, Passport Office in Narayanganj, Narayanganj City Corporation office, Rangpur Court, Department of Fisheries office in Rangpur, Gazipur City Corporation office, Gazipur DESCO office,  Narsingdi Zilla Parishad Bhaban, Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) offices, Gulshan DC Traffic office were torched which are all public properties, among others valued billions of dollars.

Those people are also so imbecilic that they destroyed all mega establishments valued billions of dollars made for the benefits of all people. The entire development landscape of Bangladesh was revolutionized almost close to any developed nation across the world during Sheikh Hasina Government.

The Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 32 Dhanmondi was gutted. This should draw the best attention of the Interim Government. Bangladesh PM’s official residence ‘Ganobhaban’ was despoiled.

According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD), at least 113 establishments came under arson attacks throughout the country from 16-22 July 2024 by some persons without moral scruples.

Bangladesh can't be defeated by any felonious quarter! Following the past tradition, if the perpetrators of any horrific communal and reactionary forces are allowed to walk free, then the venom of the re-grown fang of them will harm the people in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is meant for peoples of all religions to live together in peace with equal rights and dignity. In 1971, we created a humane Bangladesh at the bay of blood of peoples of all religions to live together in peace and dignity! Those sub-humans who make disparaging comments against our brothers and sisters belonging to other religions including Hindus will have no place in Bangladesh.

Normalcy has not yet begun to educational institutions to function swimmingly, people are afraid of returning to work, some banks are functioning again, and most factories have not resumed production.

There are three basic problems with the CIA: its objectives, methods, and unaccountability. Its operational objectives are whatever the CIA or the President of the United States defines to be in the U.S. interest at a given time, irrespective of international law or U.S. law. Its methods are secretive and duplicitous. Its unaccountability means that the CIA and president run foreign policy without any public scrutiny. Congress is a doormat, a sideshow. CIA is so hawkish that they carried their dirty game in Bangladesh climbing upon the shoulders of Pakistani ISI and their local dreaded and extreme right-winger political parties.

Anarchy, disarray, discord disorder, lawlessness, pandemonium tumult turmoil, et al are now going on in Bangladesh. Only one-sided freedom of speech is in existence with full force.

Mobocracy is now a perfect ochlocracy in the country.

The great festival of arresting kingpins and general activists of AL government of HPM Sheikh Hasin, murder and murder cases are going on in Bangladesh by the CIA-ISI led puppet government. There is no law and order. It seems that we are citizens of a murderous country.

To safeguard democracy the people must have a keen sense of independence, self-respect, and their oneness. The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government.

Humanity is so much at stake now in Bangladesh. A more colossus debacle for people is soon expected in our beloved homeland.

But those malefactors are well-known to many. As the Interim Government or the Puppet Government has been installed by American CIA and Pakistani ISI with an evil design to serve their purpose, they have chosen not to identify those who caused this colossal mayhem during July-early August 2024 and bring them to justice, ensuring that no innocent person, student, or anyone else is harassed. People’s confidence in the natural movement of life has not restored. Rather, a terrible mob rule is still going on in Bangladesh. The mob is the most ruthless of tyrants. The land of Bangladesh which we attained at the supreme sacrifice of 3 million people in 1971 is now set to become a banana republic - lawless society where the monkeys will rule.
