The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, has ordered the firm laying cables along drainages at Upper Erejuwa and Ighogbadu Roads in Warri to immediately fix sections of the drainage damaged, to allow free flow of water.
Comr. Agbateyiniro, who handed down the order during a routine working tour along major roads and streets in Warri, Tuesday September 18, stated that while his administration was not averse to the project, he will not accept a situation where roads recently reconstructed by the state government in Warri, are destroyed.
The Warri South Local Government Chairman, who was represented by his Vice, Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, directed Supervisor of the project, via telephone call, to ensure the damaged section of the drainage behind Hussey College perimeter fence, by Upper Erejuwa, is immediately fixed to specification.
Hon. Edafiadjebre, the Secretary to Warri South Local Government-Designate, Mr. Emmanuel Nunu and a member of the Warri Brand Committee, Comr. Destiny Noritsegho, were among those that undertook the working tour.
