The Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria, ACNPN, Delta State Council, will on Thursday November 28 hold the 14th Edition of its media week, lecture and award ceremony.
The event, which will take place at Vienna Hotel, DBS Road Asaba, Delta State, will feature road walk, quiz competition, one-day training workshop for members and visitation of orphanage homes across the three senatorial districts in Delta State.
This much was contained in a press statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of ACNPC, Comrade Jude Obiemenyego and Comrade Mercy Akuba, respectively and made available to journalists in Asaba.
According to the press statement, personalities from different professional bodies will be honored based on what they have done for their communities, States and beyond.
The event, themed: “Building Synergy Between the Government and the Grassroots, for Effective Remedy”, will have the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, who is the grand patron of the ACNPC, as the special guest of honour, amongst other dignitaries.
