A Prince of Warri Kingdom and contender to the Warri South Constituency 1 seat in the forthcoming Bye-Election, Prince Stanley Emiko (Jnr.) has felicitated with Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on his 60th birthday, Wednesday March 8.
Prince Emiko who coincidentally shares the same birth date, March 8, with Prof. Yemi Osinbajo described the administrative acumen so far exhibited by the Acting President as exemplary and visionary.
The Warri Prince who is eyeing the Warri South Constituency 1 seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, assured people of Warri South Constituency 1 that if given the mandate to fill the vacant seat created by the death of Hon. Omawumi Udoh, he will ensure that policies and legislation that will ensure that people of Warri in particular and Deltans in general key into progressive programmes of the federal government.
He commended the Acting President on his directive to International Oil Companies, IOCs to relocate their headquarters to their operational base in the Niger Delta and expressed delight on the renewed efforts by the federal government to facilitate the take-off of the $20 billion Gas Revolution Industrial Park Project, GRIP in Ogidigben, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State.
Prince Emiko stressed that the recent posture of the federal government as it affects the IOCs and the $20 billion project are capable of creating thousands of jobs for Niger Deltans and by extension people of Warri South Constituency 1.
He also gave plaudit to the federal government through the CBN on the new forex policy.
