It's an aberration for anyone to say The Olu of Warri doesn't have the powers to dissolve or constitute INYC leadership - Esimaje Awani

Former President of Itsekiri National Youths Council, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as Itsekiri National Youth Congress, INYC, Barr. Esimaje Vincent Awani, says it's an aberration for anyone to say the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, doesn't not have the power to dissolve or constitute the leadership of INYC.                                        

Barr. Awani, who spoke to Fresh Angle International this night in an exclusive telephone chat, averred that the emergence of Comrade Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro as President of INYC, had authority of the now transited Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli and he, Esimaje Awani " personally administered oath of office to Comrade Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro at Ode Itsekiri ,  (Big Warri)" after Ogiame Ikenwoli instructed him not to produce his successor and allow for the merger of both groups( Itsekiri National Youth Congress and Itsekiri Native Youth Council) in the interest of Itsekiri.                        

 Although he said it was a huge sacrifice but he had to adhere to the instruction given by Ogiame Ikenwoli.

The ex - Itsekiri youth leader, added: " There was no election that produced the Agbateyiniro led executive of INYC. The constitution of INYC which we drafted and was duly adopted, gave the Olu of Warri legitimate powers to constitute or dissolve INYC leadership at any point in time and that constitution was handed over to Agbateyiniro during the merger.                                          

"it is therefore pertinent to state that Emiko Oghomienor, was never at anytime an Adviser to Itsekiri National Youths Council, registered with Itsekiri money by Ogiame Ikenwoli as Itsekiri National Youth Congress for ease of registration, based on the words National and Council, that was not allowed by the CAC. The dissolution of the INYC Leadership yesterday the 28th day of October 2024, is therefore legal and binding on all Itsekiri youths and stakeholders."
