Special Assistant to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on Security, Comr. Olodia Orevaoghene Isaac, earlier today, Monday November 18, nabbed a seller and buyer of illicit drugs at the popular Hausa Quarters in Warri, Delta State.

Comr. Olodia, who was accompanied by a team of local vigilante, told Our Correspondent, that he got intelligence that some persons were selling banned drugs at Hausa Quarters.

The Governor’s Aide said, he immediately mobilized his team and dashed to the scene, where they apprehended the suspected illicit drug dealer (name withheld) and buyer, after a hot chase.
 

Comr. Olodia, who disclosed that he usually embarks on routine surveillance of communities in Warri axis, as a result of his believe that criminal activities are linked to consumption of illicit drugs and substances, mentioned tramadol as one of the drugs found in the pocket of one of the suspects.

“We caught one of the sellers and a buyer and we will be handing them over to the appropriate authorities, so that legal action can be taken against them.

“My Principal, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, is fighting against the use of hard drugs in the state and I am doing everything possible, to domesticate the fight against the selling and buying of illicit drugs and substances”, he stated.
