Bill for Warri South LGA Property Investment Development Committee, five others, scale First Reading in Warri South Legislature

An Executive Bill providing for Warri South Local Government Area Property Investment Development Committee, initiated by the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, earlier today, Thursday November 21, scaled through First Reading in the Warri South Legislative Arm.

The Majority Leader of the Warri South Legislative Arm, Hon. Tuoyo Ebigbeyi, moved the motion that the Bill providing for Warri South Local Government Area Property Investment Development Committee, go through the First Reading during plenary and the motion, was Seconded by Hon. Sunny Bodor.

Fresh Angle International can report that the House, which was presided over by the Leader, Hon. Joy Ejumudo, also considered three other Executive Bills, sponsored by Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi and the Bills also scaled through First Reading.

The Bill providing for Warri South Local Government Area Property Investment Development Committee as well as the other three Bills; A Bill providing for the Procedure for Collection and Enforcement of Revenue Accruable to Warri South Local Government Council, a Bill providing the Procedure for the Enforcement and Punishment of Road Traffic Violations in Warri South Local Government Council and a Bill providing for Enhancement of Security within Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, were sent to Special Committees created to critically review the Bills and report back to plenary within the next one or two weeks.

A Bill to Prohibit/Criminalize the Indiscriminate Dumping of Refuse and Waste Littering in Warri South Local Government Area, which was sponsored by Hon. Tuoyo Ebigbeyi and co-sponsored by Hon. Felix Ojulu, Hon. (Chief) Eghere Udumetotor and Hon. Terence Eriye Erere as well as Warri South Local Government Market’s Store Rent Review Bill, sponsored by Hon. (Chief) Eghere Udumetotor and co-sponsored by Hon. Tuoyo Ebigbeyi and Hon. Sunny Bodor, successfully scaled through First Reading in the House and referred to the relevant committees for further consideration.

The House also passed a vote of confidence on the Warri South Local Government Boss, Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac and the House Leadership, led by Hon. Joy Ejumudo, for their stewardship thus far.
