The controversy that surrounded dissolution of the leadership of Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC by the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III and the subsequent constitution of a constitution drafting committee by the Monarch, may resurrect afresh following the announcement of date for national congress .
Some of the stakeholders with different interests regarding who becomes the new President of INYC, had told This Soaring International Digital Newspaper few days ago that they slowed that the controversy on how a new leadership would emerge for the apex Itsekiri youth body, because they are waiting for outcome of the Itsekiri National Youth Council Constitution Drafting Committee, set up by the Olu of Warri.
A notice sighted by This Newspaper today, indicated that Chairman of the INYC Constitution Drafting Committee, Chief Omolubi Newuwumi, has fixed national congress for Itsekiri youths worldwide.
The Congress, slated for Sunday December 8 at Ikengbuwa Primary School, Ajamimogha Road, Warri in Delta State, is expected to commence by 1:00 pm.
The notice of meeting, which didn't state agenda, noted inter - alia : " There will be no African man's time as issues of utmost importance to Itsekiri youth, will be discuss (discussed).
" Come and be part of the deliberations to move Itsekiri Nation forward."
