This noble responsibility is carried out with a commitment to professionalism and collaboration with Nigeria’s security agencies. The allegations of ethnic bias against Tantita are baseless and appear to be a deliberate ploy by oil thieves and their sympathizers to undermine the company’s efforts and divert public attention from their criminal activities.

Tantita’s Legal Mandate and Operational Framework

By its mandate, Tantita is authorized to investigate and respond to incidents of pipeline vandalism in any community. Working hand-in-hand with law enforcement agencies, Tantita’s role is to identify and apprehend suspects who are then handed over to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.
