Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, says the 2024 Governor of the year award bestowed on him Monday January 27 by ThisDay/ Arise TV, demonstrates the collective efforts and dedication of his administration and Deltans to transform the state to greater heights, just as his Special Adviser on Environment, Hon. Matthew Poko Opuoru, expressed excitement with the governor's recognition.
Hon. Matthew Opuoru, in a statement released Tuesday January 28, asserted that the award, was a testament of the significant strides Governor Oborevwori has made in less than two years in office.
Whilst joining Governor Oborevwori to thank Deltans for their unwavering trust and support for the administration, the Special Adviser, expressed gratitude to the organisers for the well - deserved honour, saying Governor Oborevwori 's penchant for delivery of standard projects, is evident across the state.
