Renowned Security Consultant and stakeholder in Niger Delta affairs, Dr. Shola Mese, has strongly condemned a viral video which circulated Thursday evening and seemingly maligned the reputation of The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III. Dr.
Mese, in a telephone interview Friday January 31, averred that persons behind the video, which erroneously linked the reverred Monarch to illegal oil bunkering activities and promotion of ethnic strife in the Niger Delta, will be unmasked and a case of criminal defamation of character will be instituted against them .
Whilst stating that he can not fold his hands and watch things go awry, especially when it involves The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, Dr. Mese, called on Barr. Esimaje Awani, to redeem himself " partially " from sponsors of the controversial video " by doing a rebuttal."
