Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Ayirimi Emami, says “Tinubu must go back in 2027”, adding: “There is no vacancy at the State House.”

Fresh Angle International, that Chief Emami, made the declaration Friday February 14 at Ugborodo in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, during a ‘Renewed Hope Valentine's Carnival’ he organized to appreciate Ilaje people who voted President Tinubu enmasse in the 2023 general elections.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Emami said he saw the need to thank the Ilaje people, for their unwavering support for President Tinubu, prior to and after the election.

He averred: "I decided to show love to Ilajes in Warri South-West, because they stood firmly when people were not ready to support President Tinubu. When I come to your place, the townhall used to be full, you gave me food. I know you complain of high cost of fuel and food, but Asiwaju is working to fix them.

"I don't want to wait till 2027 to thank you. You accepted us during the campaigns, so I have come to thank you with the little that I have," Emami said in pidgin.

Chief Emami, who is widely regarded as the prime promoter of Itsekiri culture and tradition, stated: "Let's give Asiwaju chance to rule. We gave Buhari chance, it's not that we were happy with the government. We fought our own brother to support Buhari. Now it's the turn of Asiwaju, they are coming again that we should come fight. We say 'no'. We are not going to fight.

"This man must complete his tenure. A lot of them that are ganging up, are part and parcel of the last administration. For those ganging up, we will also enter our meeting here, Tinubu must complete his eight years. We say no to gang up,"
