Whilst assuring President Tinubu that members of his team will work towards the success of the administration in Warri and other parts of Delta State, Barr. Awani, who was former leader of Itsekiri youths worldwide, urged Governor Oborevwori not to listen to " expired panadol that can't cure headache," saying those going to meet the governor at Asaba, don't have the support of the grassroots.
He described the purported suspension of members of his team by the Warri South Local Government leadership of PDP as reckless and undemocratic, adding " those that carried out the action, don't have the right to do so, as politics is a game of numbers and thumbprint."
The business man cum political grassroots mobiliser, commended Governor Oborevwori for providing solar powered lights across the state and executing mega fly over projects, particularly at the busy Enerhen Junction, PTI Junction and DSC Roundabout. The allocation of over two hundred billion naira for capital projects in the 2025 appropriation by Governor Oborevwori, also delighted by Barr. Awani.
