Ezon – Ebe students honour King Jerry Prebor

The College of Education, Warri and Delta State University degree programme in Warri as well as that of University of Port-Harcourt affiliate chapter of National Union of Ezon-Ebe Students have honoured the Amanayabo of Meinbutu kingdom, King Jerry Prebor for “emancipating Ijaw people in the Niger Delta”.
The award which held at College of Education field in Warri, Delta State also saw other illustrious sons and daughters of Ijaw nation honoured in various fields.
 
President of National Union of Ezon-Ebe Students, College of Education Warri Chapter, Comrade Omoniyei Enewarekpemi described the Meinbutu monarch as a worthy ambassador and colossus of the people.

He also thanked king Prebor for his financial, moral and spiritual support towards the course of Ijaw students.
In his response, King Prebor promised to do more in promoting the Ijaw Nation, just as he enjoined Ijaw students to continually support the unity of Ijaw nation.

The Meinbutu monarch also advised Ijaw students to shun cultism and work hard in their academic pursuit.
