ESV Eniwaiye emerges new Kogi Chairman, Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers


ESV John Eniwaiye has emerged as the Chairman, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Kogi State Branch.

 

 

Eniwaiye was elected alongside new executives to manage the affairs of the branch for the next two years. 

 

The election was conducted by a three-man Electoral Committee headed by ESV Lawal Jiya.

 

Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that Eniwaiye was declared winner as the Chairman-Elect with a total of 18 Votes.

 

Others elected into the Branch Executive Council include: ESV Anthony A. Tinufa, Vice-Chairman; ESV Agada Fredrick, Honourary Secretary; ESV Omeiza Sunday, Honourary Publicity Secretary; ESV Ibrahim Bukky S., Treasurer; ESV Halima Etubi, Honourary Fin. Secretary; ESV Osanaiye Olushola, Honourary Welfare Secretary; Samuel Faruna, Assistant Honourary Publicity Sec.; and ESV Mohammed Abdulwasiu, Auditor 1.

 

In his acceptance speech, the Chairman-Elect thanked poineers and members of the branch for the confidence reposed in him and promised to run an all-inclusive administration where every member can contribute to the repositioning of the state branch. 

 

He further reassured members on his plans to strategically transform members welfare, continue the secretariat building project, set up temporary and functional secretariat to ease branch activities.

 

The new Chairman of Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Kogi State Branch also promised to reform database system, promote members participation in capacity building, engage undergraduate,, aid establishment of Estate Management and Valuation in tertiary institutions in the State, promote the ongoing Board and the institution reforms, carry out deliberate advocacy programs that will encourage professional engagement, and ensure compliance to professional regulatory requirements.

 

 Eniwaiye will be taking over from ESV (Elder) Aduku Philip Apeh, ANIVS whose successful tenure in office as Chairman of the Branch comes to an end on the 27th of March 2025.
