The Olare - Aja ( Oldest Man) of Ogheye Eghoroke Community in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, Pa Menite Afotanju, has mandated the new management committee of Ogheye Eghoroke to drag the Federal government's attention to the challenges of Ocean surge and erosion ravaging the community.
Fresh Angle International understands that Pa. Afotanju gave the charge at Ogheye Eghoroke Friday March 14, while inaugurating a new 10 - member management committee to pilot the affairs of Ogheye Eghoroke for the next four years.

The management committee, which was reportedly elected and immediately sworn in at the community town hall, has Johnson Bodor as Chairman, Tunde Mikie as Vice Chairman and Lofty Ogbe as Secretary.
The Committee, which was also tasked on the imperative of fostering peace in Ogheye Eghoroke, has Henry Nomagho as Public Relations Officer, Dolu Ebiejuara as Treasurer, while Jackson Oritsegbe Jafor and Morrison Oritsegbemi will serve as Financial Secretary and Assistant Secretary respectively, with Ernest Ekpoto, Amos Eduneju and Elvis Olurinwa Afa Metibemu completing the 10 - member management committee.
Mrs. Caro Utieyin becomes the new Women Leader and Mrs. Queen Eduneju, will work as Assistant Women Leader.
The new Chairman of Ogheye Eghoroke, Johnson Bodor,who spoke on behalf of other members of the management committee, assured that they would unite " all fragments of the community" promising to work in synergy with all parties to make Ogheye Eghoroke great again.

He thanked Pa. Menite Afotanju, the Council of Elders and the entire indigenes of Ogheye Eghoroke ( Utonlila Community, Ogheye Dimigun Community, Oboghoro Community Jakpa Community, Eke - tie Community, Eke - Kporo Community, Ebokiti Community, Ugbege Community, Orere Community and Amamita Community, amongst others) for attending the ceremony and making the election as well as inauguration a success. There was reported jubilation and dancing during the occasion, as the indigenes expressed delight that " light has come to the community."
