Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has charged the management of Renaissance Africa Energy Company to create employment opportunities for Deltans as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR.
Governor Oborevwori, gave the charge today, Thursday April 17 at Government House, Asaba, when he granted audience to the management team of Renaissance Africa Energy Company, led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Francis Layi Fatona.
He stated: “Having acquired Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC's) 100 percent equity in the SPDC/Total/Agip Joint Ventures and also being 100 percent Nigerian, I am fully persuaded that the firm is well positioned to lead the energy industry in Africa.
“I assured the management team of the safety of their investment in the state and also charged the Energy Company to engage our people by creating employment opportunities as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).”
