Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has granted automatic employment to one Okwa Favour Oghenemine, who earned a 4.95 CGPA in Mathematics from Delta State University, Abraka.
Fresh Angle International understands that the governor made the announcement Saturday April 26 while speaking at the 17th Convocation Ceremony of Delta State University, Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Oborevwori, also ordered the initiation of revocation proceedings for the abandoned Senate Building project at Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
Governor Oborevwori said the project would be re-awarded to a more capable contractor to ensure swift completion.
He reiterated that his administration had cleared all inherited promotion arrears and has consistently paid workers’ salaries promptly.
Governor Oborevwori congratulated the 6,401 graduating students and commended the university's Governing Council and Management for their commitment to infrastructure development, including a new one-kilometer road linking the Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences and Arts.
