Team Rt. Hon. Duakpemi Gift Kunu, added vibe as Delta State Governor, Rt. Sheriff Oborevwori, other prominent stakeholders of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, formally declared for the All Progressives Congress, APC today at Asaba, Delta State capital.
The governor, his predecessor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as well as elected and appointed PDP chieftains across the state, were received into the APC by Vice President Kashim Shettima, National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, some members of the progressive governors' forum, serving Senators and members of the House of Representatives.
Coordinator of Team Rt. Hon. Duakpemi Gift Kunu, Comrade Ofeoritse Metete while reacting to the development, assured of the steadfast commitment of members of the team to strengthen their support for the visionary leadership of Governor Oborevwori and the President Bola Tinubu administration, saying both administrations prioritize infrastructural development, progressive reform and peace - building.
He stressed that members of the team, who were fully mobilized to Asaba, stand proudly in unity and dedication to the new vision of inclusive leadership and progress for Delta State in particular and Nigeria at large.
