The Warri Area Command of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has called on the leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Warri South Chapter, to partner the agency in the area of local intelligence, to enhance the fight against drug abuse and its related crime.
Fresh Angle International’s Vivian Pori, reports that the Area Commander of NDLEA, Warri, ACN Dabara Ishaku, made the call Wednesday May 14, when the Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Warri South Chapter, Comr. Destiny Tuoma Noritsegho and other members of his executive, paid him a working visit at the Command’s Office in Warri, Delta State.
ACN Ishaku, reportedly explained how the law allows anybody in the society to identify suspects and communicate same to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Warri South Chapter, Comr. Destiny Tuoma Noritsegho, had told the NDLEA Warri Area Commander of his leadership resolve to work assiduously, towards making Warri a safer place.
Comr. Noritsegho, promised to collaborate with the Command in providing local intelligence and other necessary support, to substantially reduce all forms of crime and criminality in the area, particularly drug abuse.
