Warri South: Delta Lawmaker, Uroye tasks NYCN leadership on integrity

The member representing Warri South Constituency I in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Augustine Uroye, has tasked the leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Warri South Chapter, to maintain integrity and hard-work at all times.

Fresh Angle International’s Vivian Pori, reports that the lawmaker, gave the charge at his residence along the NPA Expressway via Warri, Sunday May 18, when the Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Warri South Chapter, Comr. Destiny Tuoma Noritsegho and other members of his executive, paid him a familiarization visit.

Hon. Uroye, a former Secretary to Warri South Local Government and ex-Chairman of Warri South Local Government Transition Committee, told members of NYCN exco, Warri South Chapter, that they were not too young for leadership positions, citing the likes of Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe and some Western Nigerian leaders as examples.

According to Hon. Uroye, the point of transformation, has always been with the youths, adding that the population of the youths, is always higher in any society.

The lawmaker, advised youths to utilize their strength positively and charged the leadership of NYCN, Warri South Chapter to deploy their national attribute to manage all local youth bodies.

Highpoint of the visit, was when the Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Warri South Chapter, Comr. Noritsegho, honoured Hon. Uroye, as patron of NYCN, Warri South.

In the same vein, the Seventh-Day Adventist Paramilitary Group of Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Odibo in Warri, has expressed readiness to work with the executive of NYCN, Warri South Chapter.

They made the pledge Sunday May 18, when Comr. Noritsegho and other members of his executive extended their working visit to them.

The leadership of NYCN, Warri South Chapter, was received by the Federation President: MG Rugba Esharivwe.

The Area Coordinator, Seventh-Day Adventist Paramilitary Group, MG Darlington Igbandu reportedly spoke on behalf of the group.

Leaders of Seventh-Day Adventist Paramilitary Group present during the visit, were; MG Elisha Arewe, MG Emmanuel Arewe- PRO, MG Daniel Igwe; Ass. Area Coordinator, Guide Blessing; Secretary and MG Shadrach Ogiliki, Financial Secretary.
