Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, has raised alert of suspected fraudsters, calling on customers to download some applications or disclose particulars of their companies.
Fresh Angle International, can report that the Commission, gave the warning in a statement posted in its X handle this afternoon, Friday May 23.
The statement, which was credited to management of CAC, noted: “The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) wish to call on its esteemed Customers and the General Public to disregard any phone call purporting to be from the Commission demanding customers to download some applications or disclose particulars of their companies.
“The CAC wishes to disassociate itself from such calls, WhatsApp, text messages or emails.
“The Commission will never instruct Customers to download any particular application or disclose their particulars.
“Please be properly guided and beware of fraudsters!”
