Eriyamremu Congratulates Odiete On Appointment  As Provost Of College of Health Technology

Mr. Chris Eriyamremu, an opinion leader in Ofuoma Community, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, has congratulated Dr. Mrs. Congrat E. Odiete on her well deserved appointment as Provost, Delta State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ofuoma.

Recall that Secretary to State Government SSG, Dr. Kingsley Emu made the announcement  days ago and the appointment takes immediate effect.

Reacting to the appointment, Eriyamremu in a statement on Monday, thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for appointing Dr. Odiete as Provost.

He said, “ Governor Oborevwori made  the right choice to appoint Dr. Odiete as Provost. I am confident she will deliver and I urge the State Government and Ministry of Health to give her the necessary support to do her job”

The Peace Mediator and Conflict Management Consultant, expressed optimism that Dr. Odiete will make a difference in repositioning the institution.

He assured that Ofuoma Community being host to the institution will sustain the peaceful, enabling environment and also support Dr. Odiete.

Eriyamremu noted that the College urgently need a facelift, and appealed to Governor Oborevwori  to quickly address   the lack of infrastructures and other challenges being faced in the institution.

He said, " some of the urgent needs of the College include renovation of dilapidated structures; expansion of College Library; completion of the auditorium under construction, completion and equipment of abandoned blocks of science laboratory and Fencing of the College's Land to ensure adequate security and also prevent encroachment”

He also called on the Delta State  Commissioner for Health, whose Ministry supervises College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ofuoma, to visit the College to get a first hand information on the issues affecting the College’s growth
