Itsekiri - born legal practitioner and rights advocate, Comrade Dennis Mene, has appealed to The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, to wade into the brewing leadership crisis in Ugborodo Federated Communities of Warri South - West Local Government Area in Delta State, saying the collective interest of Itsekiri Nation, should be more paramount at this time.

Comrade Mene, who made the appeal in an electronic statement sent to Fresh Angle International Saturday September 27, called for peaceful coexistence and unity in Ugborodo, with respect to the constitution of the Governing Council of Ugborodo Community Trust.

He stated:"I urge peaceful coexistence and unity in Ugborodo with respect to the constitution of the Governing Council of Ugborodo Community Trust. No price is too high to pay for peace. It is vital to understand that our shared problems are more significant than our divisions, and the latter are a result of our own actions.

"Considering the current situation in our kingdom and nation, marked by an apparent conspiracy against our nation, division or factions in any forms is a luxury we cannot afford. Internal divisions or factions within the nation are not beneficial but instead serve individual interests causing division.

"I wish to therefore, respectively beg our father His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR, the Olu of Warri to as a matter of general public importance wade into crisis in the Ugborodo Community Governing Council, by bringing all various interests together for lasting peace and unity for not only Ugborodo but Warri South West LGA. We should not allow the personal interest of some persons around us be an impediment to our growth and development. The collective interest of our nation, should be more paramount at this time."
