The United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, has appointed Zephia Ovia-Ikem as a NextGen Champion, to advance children’s rights and development in Nigeria.
UNICEF’s Country Representative, Wafaa Saeed, said Ovia-Ikem, joins a global network of leaders, driving progress for children and youth.
Fresh Angle International, understands that Zephia Ovia-Ikem, a tech and social entrepreneur, has supported UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited Nigeria (GenU 9JA) since its launch.
She will mobilize business leaders and resources to strengthen UNICEF’s programmes nationwide.
Ovia-Ikem, described children as Nigeria’s greatest assets and pledged to champion their growth and empowerment through education, innovation and opportunity.
