James Hope University, Asian University ink MoU to foster transformative academic exchange

One of Nigeria’s fastest growing private ivory tower, James Hope University, JHU, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Superior University, an institution situated in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

The Memorandum of Understanding, signed by the Vice Chancellor of James Hope University, Prof. Austin N. Nosike and the Rector of Superior University, Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, entails the development of dual degree and joint degree programmes.

Fresh Angle International, understands that the strategic collaboration, which was signed Friday October 31, takes effect from Friday October 31, 2025 and shall be effective for a period of five (5) years, with the possibility of renewal for a further five (5) years, by the mutual agreement of both parties.

Founded 25 years ago, Superior University, is chartered by the Government of Punjab, Pakistan and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) (HEC) and Pakistan Bar Council.

The universities, expressed optimism that the agreement would result in cultural interchange, co-operative research, exchange of students to facilitate international mobility, short intensive and summer study abroad programmes, exchange of academic staff members, research scholars and graduate students for lecturing, advanced studies and research as well as other forms of academic collaboration.

The Vice Chancellor of James Hope University in Lekki, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State, Prof. Austin Nosike, while reacting to the development, asserted: “We are delighted to enter into partnership and collaboration with Superior University. This strategic collaboration aims to foster transformative academic exchange, innovation, and startup excellence for students and faculty alike in the framework of the multilateral cooperation between Nigeria and the good people of the Republic of Pakistan.”
