The Public Relations Officer, PRO of Omadino Federated Communities Trust, Armstrong Yomere has urged the general public and his people to disregard the claims made Roland Yomere on alliance with Tantita Security Services and Omadino Federated Communities.
Armstrong Yomere in a press release Monday November 10, was responding to a recent publication and media briefing held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, according to him "the self-proclaimed Chief Priest Roland Oti Yomere and Chairman, Legal and Litigation Committee of Omadino Community".
He stated further that In that briefing, Mr. Yomere made several pronouncements and expressed an "alliance" with Tantita Security Services Limited (TSSL) on behalf of the entire Omadino Federated Communities.
Here is the full statement thus:
"We want to state unequivocally and for the avoidance of any doubt:
The statements and assertions made by Mr. Roland Oti Yomere do not represent the official position, views, or mandate of the Omadino Federated Communities, its elders, Trust, youth, or women.
"Mr. Yomere acted solely in his personal capacity and the general public should take notice that him Roland Yomere is not the Chief Priest of Omadino Federated Communities, and anybody dealing with him as Chief Priest of Omadino is on his own.
"He was neither authorized nor delegated by any constituted body within the Omadino Federated Communities to engage with the media or to pledge an "alliance" with TSSL on our collective behalf.
"We recognize the importance of the Federal Government’s initiative to protect our nation's oil and gas infrastructure, and we value the potential for partnership and employment opportunities.
"However, the procedure for engaging with companies like Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, and articulating the community’s stance, must follow the proper channels and be sanctioned by the recognized leadership structures of Omadino.
"While we maintain an open door for constructive dialogue and collaboration that benefits our people, any ongoing discussions or relationships with Tantita Security Services Limited that is done with the intention to annex Omadino land or to be an extension of Gbaramatu, we strongly opposed it.
"We wish to emphasize the following points to the general public and all relevant stakeholders:
"1. On the Issue of Boundaries: Omadino Federated Communities shares a boundary with Ugborodo Federated Communities in Warri South West LGA as affirmed in plethora of Supreme Court cases and not with any other communities or Kingdom.
"2. Unauthorized Representation: Roland Oti Yomere is not the official spokesperson for the Omadino Federated Communities on this matter.
"His press release should be treated as his personal opinion and engagement.
"3. Official Communication Channels: All formal communication, agreements, and statements regarding Omadino Community affairs, particularly those involving external entities and security matters, will be issued by the Community Trust and elders and not by Mr. Yomere, a Priest of Akpata.
"4. Sovereignty and Leadership: We reaffirm that the sovereignty of the Omadino people as Itsekiri remains under the revered overlordship of His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri.
"We are committed to maintaining peace and progress, built upon mutual respect and a steadfast adherence to the rule of law.
"In light of the above, we urge Tantita Security Services Limited, the media, the Federal Government, and the general public to treat Mr. Yomere's statements as unofficial and not representative of Omadino Federated Communities".
