"What we have done here is a team of people from Okere Community that put this scholarship scheme of exam and to make our people that are resident in Okere Community to be aware that education is very important. Education is not a scam but if you can prove yourself in the place of education, you will be able to benefit a lot."

He expressed the hope that the gesture will change the mentality of the young ones particularly students about education.

He noted that the scholarship was packaged by himself and others which includes, Mr Bernard Omagbemi, Mr. Jeff Amorighoye, Mr. Godwin Anireto, Mr. Anthony Iwere and Mr Chanomi Oduere

Engr. Akuruli said,"Together we packaged this so that we can give back to the community like our fathers have handover to us, so also we want the upcoming generation to know that education is key. If they can buy into it, it becomes easier and the sky will be their starting point.

Engr. Akuruli advised the youths especially secondary students against Internet fraud otherwise known as "Yahoo" and seek knowledge by embracing education. He said, "How long will that sustain them? The more you go into it, your conscience, your mind, can you actually survive with it? Is there Yahoo or its rituals? Come to education now, seek for knowledge and the sky will be your starting points. What are you going to give your children? Are you going to hand over Yahoo to your children? What's actually Yahoo? For me, I don't believe there's anything Yahoo. It's rituals. So, come to education.
