The pastor, who allegedly bought a two-month-old baby boy for N1.5m from the mother of the baby, identified as Rita, has been arrested by the police in Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Fresh Angle International, has gathered.

While the said arrest was still in the realm of speculations as at Wednesday December 17, the Pastor whose name was given as Valentine Osezie of Believers Praise Ministry, Agbarho, was picked alongside his wife and the abducted two-month-old baby, recovered.

Recall that the Police in Ekpan, reportedly apprehended a woman for allegedly selling her two-month-old baby boy for N1.5m, after the same woman had claimed in a viral report Monday December 15, that the baby was kidnapped from her, along the NNPC Complex Road via Warri.

Our Roving Correspondent had reported that the woman identified simply as Rita, was arrested Tuesday December 16, after her husband, who was not satisfied with the woman’s account, reported the incident to the Police at Ekpan.

The lady, who resides in Ugbokodo, Okpe Local Government Area, had told her husband that the two-month-old baby boy, was abducted from her, claiming the abductors left her and another child she was carrying.

Suspicious of his wife’s account, the husband, who is not the father of the other child the lady returned home with, impressed it on the Police to carryout due diligence.

Fresh Angle International, understands that it was in the course of the Police rigorous interrogation, that the woman allegedly confessed she sold the baby for N1.5m to a pastor at NNPC Complex Road.
