The Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Metete Foundation for Widows and Women Empowerment, Metete Ofeoritse Loveth, has commended the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, for donating 300 bags of 10kg rice to the Foundation, to enable it support over 240 widows and women across the 12 federal wards in Warri South Local Government Area.
Metete, gave the commendation Wednesday December 31, when her Foundation, in collaboration with Sustainable Development Movement, SDM, went round the 12 federal wards in Warri South Local Government Area, to fete the widows and women, ahead of the January 1, 2026 new year day celebration.

Metete, who was flanked by the Convener of Sustainable Development Movement, SDM, Comrade Joy Efekoha, told newsmen: " I want to thank the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, for his support towards the Foundation.
" He called me and said, Ofeoritse, I want to support the widows and old women of the 12 wards in Warri South Local Government Area.
" This is not about tribalism, but about the welfare of widows and old women in the 12 wards. "Since i started this foundation, the chairman (Comrade Agbateyiniro) has always supported me and I want to thank him for always showing the foundation love and support."
Convener of SDM, Comrade Joy Efekoha, on her part, said her the SDM, was wired to change lives, empower women and help the society generally.

Efekoha, also thanked the Warri South Local Government Boss for using the collaborative platforms to reach out to the widows and old women this yuletide, just as she affirmed that Metete Foundation for Widows and Women Empowerment, has done a lot for widows and old women since inception.
