The Federal Government, has introduced enhanced question randomisation and serialisation mechanisms, implying that all candidates sitting for Senior School Certificate Examinations, SSCE and NECO, from the year 2026, will have to answer same examination questions with different sequencing.

Fresh Angle International, understands that the new policy, which was announced Monday January 5, by the Federal Ministry of Education, is part of ongoing reforms aimed at eliminating examination malpractice in the West African Examinations Council, WAEC and National Examinations Council, NECO examinations.

The Federal Government, in a statement released by the Director, Press and Public Relations in the Federal Ministry of Education, Boriowo Folasade, reaffirmed its strict policy prohibiting the transfer of candidates at the Senior Secondary School Three (SS3) level.

The government, emphasized that the directive, prohibiting the transfer of candidates at the Senior Secondary School Three (SS3) level, has already been communicated through an official circular, which will be rigorously enforced to prevent last-minute school changes, often associated with examination malpractice.
