Bateren: Henry Esimaje to lead Omateye Family Organisation For The Next Four Years, After Landslide Victory

The Omateye Family Organisation in Bateren, Warri South - West Local Government Area, will be led by Mr. Henry Tonghanranrose Esimaje for the next four years, following his landslide victory during an election held in Bateren, Friday February 27, Fresh Angle International can report.

 

Mr. Henry Esimaje, reportedly polled 66 votes out of 67 accredited voters, to defeat Eric Mene, to emerge President of Omateye Family Organisation.

This Flagship Niger Delta Online Newspaper, understands that Eric Mene, didn't show up at venue of the election, with one void vote recorded in the presidential contest.        

 

Whilst Samuel Omajuwa Nesiangho, was said to have emerged as Vice President, Lucky Mogbeyiteren Bokaghantero, reportedly polled 55 votes to win Victor Fregene, who garnered 10 votes, out of the 67 accredited voters that participated in the exercise, leaving the remaining two votes void.

 

Sunday Etchie, Mr. Beecroft Uliyemi John and Mr. Shola Ekwejunor - Etchie, become the new Public Relations Officer, Treasurer and Financial Secretary, respectively. 

 

 

Madam Diana Oduore, emerged the Woman Leader, after recording 40 votes to defeat Grace Fregene, who reportedly scored 26 votes.

 

Reports say Mrs. Ruth Madamedon, Mr. Kelvin Eyeogode and Mr. Topia Akinyomi Etchie, are now the Organising Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Assistant Organising Secretary, respectively.

 

A nine - member electoral committee, chaired by Hon. Patrick Fregene PhD, with Barr. Rex Reyefoju as secretary, conducted the election, which was attended by delegates from Ajagbodudu, Bateren, Benin City, Koko, Lagos, Sapele, Warri and Ugborodo.

 

The 9 - member executive, was immediately sworn in by the Olorebi of Omateye Family Organisation, Pa. Isaac Etchie.                                          

 

In his remarks, the new President of Omateye Family Organisation, Henry Esimaje, reportedly promised to unite the family, attract development and make judicious use of funds meant for the community.              

 

He also assured that his leadership, would be fair and adhere to justice and equity in the discharge of your responsibilities.
