Warri: Noritsegho recounts how NYCN empowered youths in one year

Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Warri South Chapter, Comr. Destiny Tuoma Noritsegho, says the Council under his leadership took deliberate steps to empower youths, promote unity and drive community development, through various initiatives and engagements in the last one year.

Comr. Noritsegho, made the disclosure Saturday March 28, during celebration of the one-year anniversary of his leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Warri South Chapter.

Whilst acknowledging that the journey has come with its challenges, the Warri South Youth leader, asserted that the determination of his executive to change the narrative about youths in Warri South, never wavered.

He stated: “This occasion is not just a celebration of time, but a reflection of a journey defined by service, resilience, growth, and impactful leadership. One year ago, we made a commitment to serve with integrity, to amplify the voices of young people, and to contribute meaningfully to the development of Warri South.

“Over the past year, we have taken deliberate steps to empower youths, promote unity, and drive community development. Through various initiatives and engagements, we have continued to position young people as key stakeholders in building a better society.  

“Though the journey has come with its challenges, our determination has never wavered. With the support of our stakeholders and the dedication of our team, we have remained focused and committed to our vision. At this point, I would like to specially and sincerely appreciate the Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Issac Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, for his constant support and encouragement towards the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Warri South Chapter.

“Your commitment to youth development and your unwavering support have played a vital role in our successes so far. 

“We are deeply grateful, sir. I also wish to commend my executive team for their tireless efforts, loyalty, and commitment. Your hard work has been instrumental in achieving the progress we celebrate today.

“To our partners, supporters, and the vibrant youths of Warri South, thank you for believing in this administration and for standing with us. As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to doing more.

“The future is bright, and we will continue to work tirelessly to expand opportunities, strengthen youth engagement, and build a more impactful and inclusive community.

Fresh Angle International, can report that highlight of the occasion, was the parade competition, where the Royal Ambassador Squad claimed the trophy, while the second and third positions, went to Lydia and Man ‘O’ War, respectively.
