· The Chairman of Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youth, UIY, Warri South-West Zone, Comrade Esimaje Richard Ejueyitsi, has assured that he will maintain strong, respectful and productive relationship with UIY National body.
Our Principal Correspondent, reports that Comr. Ejueyitsi gave the assurance Friday April 3, at Ugboegungun Community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, during his acceptance speech at the UIY Warri South-West Zone inauguration ceremony.
He appreciated the Warri Monarch, Ogiame Atuwatse III, for granting them the rare privilege to serve Itsekiri Nation and Warri Kingdom at large, pledging undiluted loyalty to the throne as well as to promote, defend, and preserve the territorial integrity of Itsekiri Nation.
While commending his fellow exco members, Comr. Ejueyitsi, said the mandate is not for him alone, pointing out that he loves the unity they have started with and want them to continue on the good path, in order to achieve all goals together.
Comrade Ejueyitsi, reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and development of Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths, saying: "To my fellow chairmen- in other zones-, let it be known that your pain is my pain, and your progress is my progress. I will always stand ready, with the strength and wisdom God has given me, to support you whenever the need arises.
"To the great Itsekiri youths of Warri South-West, this moment marks the beginning of a new dawn for all of us and it is time for us to emancipate ourselves from mental and physical slavery."

"The situation is further worsened by the activities of International Oil Companies operating within our domain. Their continued neglect and silence in the face of our struggles are deeply troubling. They extract our God-given resources, yet leave behind environmental degradation, unemployment, and widespread poverty.
"As a result of all these, many of our young people are forced to abandon their ancestral homes in search of survival in urban centers. This rural-to-urban migration is not by choice, but by necessity, and it is driven by the absence of basic amenities such as quality education, hospitals, roads, and economic opportunities.
"We have been marginalized for too long. We have been pushed to the wall, and now, we must stand firm. We will continue to agitate—peacefully but resolutely—for our survival, our dignity, and our rightful place. This is not going to be business as usual because we're going to take all that belongs to us, including the three Warri Local Government Councils.
"Let it be clear: this is not a call for conflict, but a call for justice. This is not about sentiment, but about truth. We will not stand by while others, who have their own untouched territories, continue to lay claim to ours.
“Itsekiri is Warri, and Warri is Itsekiri.
"We speak not because it is convenient, but because it is necessary. We demand that all lingering issues be addressed—not superficially, but thoroughly—guided by historical truth and the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, not by influence or financial power".
The National President of Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youth, Comrade Josephi Okotie, who was represented by the 3rd Vice President, Comrade Lillywhite Esigbone, expressed confidence in the capacity of Comrade Esimaje Richard Ejueyitsi, the Zonal Secretary, Comrade Mathew Eyitemi Etchie and other exco members of Warri South-West Zone.
He encouraged members of the newly Inaugurated executive, to work as a team, pledging a take-off grant of N2.5 Million on behalf of the National President.
