Contender for the Warri Federal Constituency Seat in the 2027 general elections, Capt. Omatseye David, has charged Christians to take the lessons of Easter home with iron cast conviction.
Capt. Omatseye, who gave the charge Friday April 3, in a goodwill message titled; ‘Triumphant Easter Wishes To All Christians’ expressed optimism that tomorrow will turn out much better, to the glory of God.
He stated: “On the momentous occasion of Good Friday culminating in Easter, it is my unrestrained joy to felicitate with all Christians within the Warri Federal Constituency and indeed across the globe.
“The lessons of Good Friday and Easter have never been lost to the spiritually discerning. Ultimate sacrifice, surrenderedness of status, obedience unto and victory over death, all of which issue from the divine bowels of love, mercy and grace continue to resonate and inspire our need for mutual respect, tolerance and readiness to work toward improving the lots of the greater majority.
“We see this period as one guiding and enthroning grace over legalism, privilege over entitlement and sacrifice over nonchalance.
“As we celebrate the significant event in the body of Christ, I urge every believer to take the lessons home with iron cast conviction that our tomorrow will turn out much better, to the glory of God. Once again,
