Claim of Six LGAs: Office of Speaker, too big for myopic distortion of facts, INYC tells Guwor

Itsekiri National Youth Council, INYC, has hit hard on Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, saying Office of Speaker, is too big to be partaking in myopic distortion of facts.

The Itsekiri youth body, made the declaration in response to the statement made Wednesday April 15 in Bomadi, by Rt. Hon. Guwor, wherein he declared that Ijaws of Delta State, have six local government areas.

Public Relations Officer of INYC, Hon. Ebigbeyi Tuoyo, in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International, Thursday April 16, said Rt. Hon. Guwor’s statement was incorrect.

According to the INYC Imagemaker, Ijaws have only three local government areas in Delta state, where they have majority.

While mentioning Burutu, Patani and Bomadi, as the three local government areas, where Ijaws have majority, Hon. Ebigbeyi, averred: “Mr Speaker, should stop misinforming the public, as accurate representation of ethnic composition and political structure, are important for peace and fairness in Delta State, if we must continue to live and enjoy peaceful coexistence.”
