Caution Amgbaduba against dragging Tinubu, Oborevwori’s name through the mud, Chief Emami tells Arenyeka

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Ayirimi Emami, has called on Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, to caution Delta South Senatorial Chairman of the party, Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduga, against dragging the name of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori through the mud.

Chief Emami, in a viral podcast, Wednesday April 29, stated that there were reports that Chief Amgbaduba sent message to members of the APC to attend a gathering, where Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, intend declaring his intention to recontest the Delta South Senatorial seat come 2027.

Whilst stressing that as key official of the party, Chief Amgbaduba ought to know that he is duty bound to campaign for APC’s candidates and not aspirants, Chief Emami who spoke in pidgin English in the viral podcast, asserted: “You (Chief Amgbaduba) cannot call and send message to people to come for Joel’s declaration. Joel should go and declare on his own, if he win, either by consensus or we do the direct primary, he becomes the party candidate, the party go take responsibility.”

Chief Emami, declared: “Nor drag President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff name to the mud oh, make Joel go campaign by himself.

“We don adopt president and the governor. Na me talk am from the beginning say legislators are on their own, so take the party out of am. Stop using party platform ((referring to Chief Amgbaduba).

“Deltans, I don tell una. Governor and President matter na our matter, for Senator, House of Reps and House of Assembly, na their own problem, make everybody carry him cross oh.”
