Renowned Legislative Consultant and media proprietor, Dr. Ekpoto Ekpoto Emmanuel, has picked the expression of interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress, to contest for the Warri Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 polls.
Dr. Ekpoto, who reportedly obtained the forms Tuesday April 28 at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, committed to people - centred lawmaking if given the mandate to represent Warri Federal Constituency.
Whilst noting that effective representation goes beyond occupying a seat in the Green Chamber, Dr. Ekpoto, who was APC candidate for the Warri Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 general elections, posited that strategic legislative engagement, backed by experience and informed lobbying, can translate into tangible development and responsive governance for Warri Federal Constituency.
He outlined plans to prioritize the core functions of legislation, lawmaking, oversight and representation, while leveraging professional network to attract meaningful projects to the constituency.
The House of Representatives hopeful, pledged institutionalize regular townhall meetings across the constituency.
According to him, institutionalization of townhall meetings, would serve as platforms for dialogue and enable constituents to voice their concerns as well as contribute to policy direction.
