2027: Merogun joins NDC, bemoans ' poor' representation of Warri South 1 Constituents

The All Progressives Congress candidate for Warri South Constituency 1 in the 2023 general elections, Dr. Michael Eyiituoyo Merogun, has joined the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC.

 

Speaking in Warri, Wednesday May 6, Dr. Merogun, said he has the zeal to make Warri better and ready to give the people visionary leadership as well as quality representation, going forward.

 

Dr. Merogun, in a warm handshake with Ward 4 Chairman Jonathan Efele, while others observe

 

Dr. Merogun, bemoaned what he described as poor representation being experienced in Warri South 1 State Constituency, insisting that he's coming to make a difference by committing to efficient service to the people.

 

The grassroots politician said he joined the NDC, because the party is the "light to join to move forward."

 

He urged his followers to support NDC, to actualise the vision of operation light up Warri and it's environs.

 

Chairman of NDC, Warri South Local Government Aeea, Prince Debi Emiko, commended Dr. Merogun for taking the bold decision to join NDC with his large supporters, assuring him of oneness in the party.

NDC Ward 4 (Ugbori/Ekurede) Chairman, Jonathan Efele, who handed over NDC cap to Dr. Merogun, expressed joy, saying more big wigs like Dr. Merogun are joining NDC with their supporters and assured Dr. Merogun of same status with older members of the party.
