Air Peace explains reason for cancelled, delayed flights


One of Nigeria's foremost indigenous airlines, Air Peace, has blamed recent cancellation and delays in its flight schedules, on an incident which rendered one of its aircrafts unserviceable.

 

The company in a terse statement on its X handle, Saturday July 25, explained that the disruptions in its flight schedules, was as a result of a recent incident involving one of its aircrafts with ground handling equipment operated by NAHCO.

 

The firm, noted that the safety of her passengers, crew and equipment, remains her highest priority.

 

The statement, reads:"Dear valued customer, we sincerely emotive with your experience.

 

"Due to the recent incident involving one of our aircraft with the ground handling equipment operated by NAHCO, which rendered the aircraft totally unserviceable, several scheduled services within our network are experiencing delays, while some were cancelled. Kindly bear with us as we mitigate the disruption through fleet adjustments.

 

"At Air Peace, the safety of our passengers, crew and equipment remains our highest priority. We kindly request your patience, understanding and continued support as we manage the operational challenges arising from this incident. Thank you for flying Air Peace."
