Former member of Delta State Executive Council, Hon. Omamofe Joseph Pirah, says ex - Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, demonstrated uncommon humility, fairness and insight on issues that affected the different divides in Delta state and beyond.
Hon. Pirah, stated that the reported passing of Dr. Uduaghan Monday October 19, came as a rude shock, saying the former governor's exit, leaves a vacuum in the peace - building efforts in Delta State, particularly Warri Federal Constituency.
Whilst condoling members of the Uduaghan family, Itsekiri Nation, Deltans and other well - meaning Nigerians, Hon. Pirah, who served as Delta State Commissioner for Oil and Gas, under the Uduaghan administration, disclosed that his transited former Boss, demanded detailed explanation on the workability, before policies and programmes were implemented.

" Reports of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan's passing, struck me hard and deep. I am deeply saddened.
" As a Boss and big brother, he never encouraged hearsay, he gave everyone and every side, fair hearing. He was a careful listener and man with discerning mind, hence he made the right decisions at every point in time.
" His detribalised disposition, is legendary and should be emulated by people in government and other leadership positions. Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, may have left us physically, but his legacy will continue to challenge some of us to greater service to humanity" Pirah, asserted.
